2024 Undergraduate Research Symposium

The 27th Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium will take place on the UW Seattle campus on Friday, May 17, 2024. This event is organized by the Office of Undergraduate Research, which facilitates research experiences for undergraduates in all academic disciplines. The event includes poster, visual arts and design, performing arts, and oral presentations by students from all academic disciplines and all three UW campuses, plus invited student presenters from peer institutions.

Welcome Address

UW Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs Tricia Serio and Vice Provost and Dean of Undergraduate Academic Affairs Ed Taylor will congratulate presenters a kickoff welcome address at 11 a.m. in the Mary Gates Hall Commons.

Population Health Recognitions The Population Health Initiative recognizes students participating in the Undergraduate Research Symposium for their innovative and well-presented research work. View the 2023 Population Health Recognition Awardees Outstanding Undergraduate Research Mentor Award Undergraduate Research Symposium presenters are given an opportunity to nominate their mentor for the Outstanding Undergraduate Research Mentor Award.
